I’m working with a team in Growing Connections to build some TreeBogs on the farm, and was wondering what to clad them with. Handily it turns out that the waste ‘skins’ up at the sawmill contain loads of thin planks, perfect for weatherboarding a shed, or in this case, treebog.
An exhausting morning and 3 trips later, I’ve it all cut and sorted, and there’s enough to do the job twice, plus a mountain of bits that will keep us in sticks for years..Best of all it cost next to nothing and I reckon we’ll get a hen house out of it too.
