Today we raked out all the rubbish from the beds, and then added some pretty ancient cow manure to them, before setting to with the planting. In one corner we’d made a little pond, around which we’ve planted many varieties of mint, as well as lavender and a few other odds and ends.

All planted out, and at the back the fruit bushes have been found homes around the edge of the bed, which has a back retaining edge made of filled tyres.
With half the beds planted, we should have everything in by the end of the week. Not bad for 2 days work…
