We may have had the wettest winter for 100 years but days like this are worth waiting for. Perfectly frosty and clear, no noise except for the hens helping me to muck out the stables, and the smell of woodsmoke. It doesn’t get a lot better than that. Suddenly everything seems possible once again, and all the hard work to get this far has been worth it.

I know exactly what you mean Steve. Had a great myself, mucking out the cattle, knocking down a stable internal wall, hanging gates and dividing the yard and stall with gates. Big cattle now live with big cattle and small cattle with little cattle. My back is killing me and I am really tired but it was all worth it. We haven’t had any frost down here yet.
Looks like alittle piece of heaven
