Summer seems to be in full swing, and we’re flat out welcoming visitors to Birch Eco Cottage. We’ve now opened up the circular walk around the woodlands opposite the cottage, and we’re always happy to show guests around the gardens, and introduce them to the horses. Birch Cottage remains the only opportunity to stay in a self catering cottage in Northern Ireland, and be entirely off grid.
We’ve also got lots of great 360 shots of the farm, including the inside of the cottage which we are working on linking together to give a proper tour of the place, and we’re so glad that the work that goes into making this a magical place to stay is reflected in the things our guests have to say about their stay in Birch eco Cottage.
Lackan Cottage Farm is one of the most idyllic cottages we’ve ever been to. Done up to the highest standards and decorated so elegantly, the cottage is the perfect getaway place, especially if you’re looking for a break from city life. The setting and the cottage itself would be enough for us to return but just in case we needed an extra push, our host Claire made our return a certainty.
Highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to get away from it all. Short drive away for anything you might need to pick up, but the place feels like you are miles away from the real world. Fantastic views, gorgeous animals and a simply beautiful cottage to relax and unwind.
Wow! This place is wonderful! The scenery, the walks, and the accessibility to other areas of interest make it such an attractive option for a trip to Northern Ireland. The hosts are so welcoming and ensure you have everything you need to make your stay a great experience. The actual cottage is well kitted-out with a wood burner, lovely aesthetics in the smaller details, excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities, not to mention an enormous comfy bed! 🙂 Can’t recommend highly enough.
