This workshop will teach you the skills needed to make your own piece of furniture in the form of a rustic stool, encompassing the use of the shave horse and a variety of handtools including the axe, draw knife, auger drill and spoke shave.
The key to enjoying woodcraft is knowing how to use tools safely and effectively which will all be covered on this course along with the types and properties of the woods used. This one day workshop is suited to everyone both young and old, all tools and equipment are supplied.
Lunch, tea and coffee included. Warm clothes and good boots advised.
