When we built the classroom space, the intention was always that it would be a space for people to come to and discover new things – not only from the person giving the talk or presentation, but from each other. So it was this weekend as we hosted the first ‘proper’ event in the classroom, a talk on Rocket Mass Heaters by author Leslie Jackson. It was wonderful to gather together such an interesting and varied crowd of people, and see the connections being made there. We’re really pleased at the way the space works, and delighted that people have such positive things to say about it. This was certainly the first event of many.

Then today we welcomed folk from the Lisburn and South Down Grow It Yourself groups, who came for a chat and a look around the gardens.
