We do like visitors, and it was great to see John and Elaine from the Turnip House, who very kindly brought us housewarming (and headwarming) hats. If you are coming to the area, make sure you visit their tea house – the cake is fabulous. They make knitwear and felt products, as well as runnign felt making workshops.
They have a house restoration project that makes ours look like a piece of cake, and which in its current state is an amazing snapshot of life in the early 20th century. You’ll find their blog here, so get along and have a read.
