Am currently keeping this blog primarily as a way to track the progress on the truck, so no apologies if its a lot of tedious detail about a lorry..
Another half a day spent fault tracking on the alternator electrics, only to discover that once revved past 1500rpm, the alternator starts generating and the warning light goes out. Still, at least it works.
New clutch master cylinder arrived, and fitted, so a working clutch too. Also fitted the windscreen wipers, and had another go at tracing the brake light wiring, which appears to be totally dead.
That means that only the brake lights and parking brake warning are now not working, so am very nearly there..
Experimented with the vehicle battery supply on the zig unit, but it seems to think that its only getting 11v and not 14 or so, so investigation needed.
