We are always happy to welcome visitors to Lackan Cottage Farm – everything from individuals to bus-loads at a time. If you would like to come by and see what we do, or talk about some specific aspect of what we do, then please do get in touch. All we ask is that –
- You contact us well in advance.
- You leave your dogs at home. We love dogs but we have animals and young children running free. If you do bring dogs along we will have to ask that they remain in the car.
We can talk about all sorts of aspects of life here – from eco building and renewable energy systems, to food and fuel production, as well as our ethos, and why we have chosen to live this way. We are also happy to look at potential sites and buildings to offer suggestions and advice, as well as permaculture design and how to get the most out of a site.
We do ask for a financial contribution for our time – visits are typically 2 hours and £50 / 60 euro. Alternatively, we put on at least one open day per year, details in our events section
