Build a compost toilet – weekend build – Fully booked

Compost toilets are great. They don’t use water, and the end product is marvellous fertiliser. We’re celebrating our tenth year at Lackan with the building of a nice new twin chamber composting loo, and this is a great opportunity to come and learn some basic building skills, and some of the lessons we’ve learned over a decade of building a variety of compost loos of all types. A ground-up build, so you’ll go through a complete build.

This is going to be a weekend build.  Plenty of room for camping if you want to stay overnight, and we’ll be providing a hearty vegetarian lunch on both days.
No dogs please, and it will be hard to participate and supervise children so might be an idea if they dont come along on this occasion.
We’ll be working outdoors, so warm waterproof clothing is a must, gloves advised.
