Make a stool from a log workshop

Places on the green woodworking courses are going fast – so fast that we are likely to put on a second ‘Introduction to Green Woodworking course’, to cater for the interest. There are just a couple of places left now on the ‘Make a stool from a log course’. It’s great that so many people want to try green woodworking for the first time, and that 4 out of the 6 places on the first course are occupied by ladies.

Anyone interested in Green Woodworking could do a lot worse than get a copy of either of Mike Abbotts excellent books on the subject here – http://www.living-wood.co.uk/books.html

And for those who are keen to explore the world of pole lathe woodturning and green woodworking further should pay a visit to the APT’s website – https://bodgers.org.uk/

We’ll be holding our courses out in the birch woods, where we are preparing an area especially for green woodworking, with its own seating, shelter, camp fire, and of course, compost loo. It is a beautiful spot in any weather, and we have our fingers crossed for a fine April. In the meantime we will set about busying ourselves and making preparations..Exciting times ahead.
