We’ve got the loan of a camera from Google that can take these 360 degree images, and boy have we made the most of it, capturing views from all over Lackan Cottage Farm, and making a tour of Birch Eco Cottage. The last couple of weeks have been spent getting the place tidied up for our annual open day, and we were blessed with the most amazing, glorious weather.

Around 30 people came along, bringing some wonderful food to share, and we split into two groups, with Claire taking a group around the gardens, and Steve talking about the cottages and the renewables. Then lunch was had and each group swapped over. New friends have been made, and connections established, so we consider that a really positive result. Hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves, and we’ll see some of the visitors again at courses.

Now a couple of weeks concentrating on the gardens before our next course – Practical Renewable Energy at the start of July, when with any luck the weather will bless us once again.
