Something we’ve been asked is ‘what exactly will this eco classroom look like? The answer, is – something along these lines, although to a certain extent it will be determined by the materials that become available. The interior above is a similar shape, has a lime or clay plastered finish, and similar ceiling slope, as well as the big cob rocket mass heater that we will be incorporating. Plus that tree looks amazing.
Outside – this veranda and external finish is what we are thinking of, and gives a good idea what may be done.
The wany edge board finish and veranda are just what we are after.
Timber frame structure with straw bale infill – the kind of building technique we intend to employ.
Deep window reveals, lack of sharp edges, and use of natural materials will feature.
