Courses and Events – Terms and conditions

Confirmation of booking
A place is only confirmed on a course once payment has been made in full.  A booking is valid only for the specified course and may not be transferred to any other date or course without prior agreement of Lackan Cottage Farm.

Cancellation
In the event that the event has to be cancelled, Lackan Cottage Farm will refund participants in full, but accept no liability for any other costs incurred. If participants have also booked accommodation for all or part of the duration of the course, the accommodation costs will also be refunded in full.

In the event of a participant wishing to cancel their booking, the following conditions will apply:
No refunds will be offered for cancellations within 30 days of the event.
50% refund will be offered for cancellations between 30 and 60 days before the event.
Full refund less a £10 administration fee for cancellations more than 60 days before the event.

Accommodation
Birch Cottage and Off Grid Horse Box
Payment must be made in full online at the time of booking. Accommodation is non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.

Camping
A limited number of camping spots are available, and participants may arrive the evening before the event from 4pm. Camping is ‘leave no trace’ and visitors are asked to leave the camping area as they found it. Camping spots must be vacated by 5pm on the last day of the event.
Participants are responsible for providing their own tents, camping equipment etc. A compost toilet is available for use. Participants are responsible for providing their own meals unless specified in the course description.

Pets
Please do not bring dogs with you on courses or to events.

Smoking
Lackan Cottage Farm is a strictly no smoking venue.

Children
We are not able to provide childcare so please make suitable arrangements.

Duration of events
Event finish times are approximate, and may depend on factors such as weather, number of participants etc. We endeavour to finish as near the stated times as possible.

Food
Where food is provided it will be vegetarian. If you have other specific dietary requirements we cannot guarantee to provide for them so please make suitable arrangements for your meals. If you have specific allergies please let us know. All food is peanut free.
