Shelter is of course, one of our primary needs, and creating our own shelter is very empowering. We were fortunate that there were some structures on site when we arrived, and we’ve made them our own. Our building ethos is simple – buildings should be human scale, be sympathetic to their surroundings and heritage, and use natural, local materials in order to provide a healthy environment to live in.
