For over a year this truck was our home, and now it is used as accommodation for visiting volunteers. A horse box for many years, it is an ideal home. We insulated and lined it all out, and with a woodburner for heating, it is amazingly warm and cosy. Electricity comes from a couple of solar panels on the roof, but the LED lights use very little power. An inverter allows us to use 240 volt appliances. Fitting out took a couple of months, and a few thousand pounds, but we couldn’t have managed without her.
