Birch trees lock up an incredible amount of CO2

As part of our crowdfunding campaign to build an eco classroom we are offering all sorts of great rewards. For every person who makes a pledge of £10 or over, we’ll plant a native tree here on the farm. We welcome visitors to spend time in the woodland here, it really is beautiful.

We can’t wait to celebrate reaching our target with a get together

Pledge £20 or more and we’ll plant a tree for you, and you can come along to our celebration gathering, where we’ll show you around the farm, you can meet like minded people, and enjoy some great locally grown food (lots from right here on the farm).

We run all sorts of courses

Pledge £50 or more and you can come on any one of our 1 day courses. This year we have a number planned, which may include:

Food from foraging – learn how you can use wild food, and plants from the garden to make delicious food and drink.

Off grid living – An introduction to all aspects of living off grid, with some practical demonstrations of DIY power generation and waste management.

Permaculture – An introduction to the principles of permaculture and how they are applied.

Less is More – How to downsize your life, live with less and get your life back

And more to be announced. Day courses are normally priced at £75, so why not pledge and get yourself a bargain!

Spend time in the tipi

Pledge £100 and as well as planting you a tree, and welcoming you to our celebration, we invite you to come and spend a night in our fantastic tipi. It is an experience like no other, watching smoke from the fire rising gently above you as you lie watching the flames making patterns on the canvas above.

There’s nothing like tipi living

Pledge £500 and you can enjoy a weekend stay in the tipi, full board, as you relax and enjoy a slower pace of life.
