Well, after two days frenzied activity, here is the new treebog. Thanks to all who helped bring it about – it is truly a thing of beauty, and should settle nicely into its woodland setting. We used sawmill skins almost exclusively to build it, and its the first of the treebogs here on the farm to feature a proper separator seat.

This being our second treebog I decided it would have to be a bit special, and so we have ended up with some really nice door handles –

And we have mod cons like a loo roll holder – 
A handy recycled bathroom window was ideal.
From the back (downhill) side you can see the composting chamber below, which is surrounded by two layers of chicken wire stuffed with straw.Â
