Today saw the first autumn mist, and the farm took on a magical quality that you only get at this time of year.
Such an incredibly abundant time, as fruits begin to ripen, and we are able to harvest from the garden and tunnels every day. Having a freezer for the first time means we can put some aside for the winter without making preserves, which is great when we are so busy with everything else right now.
The last of the lime plastering on the old cottage is coming to an end now too, and the place feels so much better for it. The house is so much brighter looking, and we haven’t even limewashed it yet.
Now its time for the best season of the year.. You have captured it well!
