As always here at Lackan Cottage Farm, it was people who made the year memorable, and helped us to achieve so much. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who came and gave their time – it was a pleasure to meet you all, and great new friends have been made. To all those who came on courses, thank you too for having a go at something new.
This was our first year of being self catering hosts, and its been a steep learning curve, but we are hugely grateful to over 100 people (and their partners) who came and stayed in either Birch Cottage or the Horse Truck, we’re looking forward to seeing some of you again in the coming year.
2018 will, we hope begin with tree planting, earth plastering, and willow harvesting so we’ll no doubt be seeing old faces and meeting new ones before the year is very old, and soon we’ll be sharing our planned courses too. With each passing year we we learn a little more, and our plans are always evolving, so expect some new ideas, and plenty of opportunities to join in.
